Venue Overview

The Balatonfüred Congress Center is a modern, multifunctional facility tailored to host congresses, conferences, exhibitions, corporate meetings and gala dinners alike. Combining contemporary design with lakeside elegance, the centre provides an environment that sparks creativity, engagement and connection.

The 1,800-capacity, 4,500-square-metre multifunctional congress centre is designed with its key spaces located on the ground floor. At its heart lies the plenary hall — also suitable for theatre performances and concerts — offering seating for 650 guests and directly connected to all essential supporting functions. From the spacious foyer, which accommodates mobile exhibitions, receptions and a wide range of events, two symmetrically arranged side corridors lead to the main hall. On both sides, cloakrooms and elegant, emerald-green Art Nouveau–inspired restroom blocks create a refined atmosphere.

Adjacent to the large glass-covered lobby, a modern minimalist exhibition space of 380 square metres provides a flexible venue for exhibitions, receptions and gala dinners. Two additional section rooms open from this area, further expanding the possibilities for diverse and parallel event setups.

State-of-the-Art Technology

The venue is equipped with cutting-edge technology: LED walls, built-in projection systems, professional sound and lighting, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout, simultaneous interpretation booths and hybrid or live-streaming solutions available on request. Our in-house technical team ensures smooth, reliable execution for events of any size.

All six section rooms are fitted with integrated screens as well as high-quality audio and presentation technology, offering ready-to-use solutions that minimise setup time and simplify logistics. These versatile spaces are ideal for breakout sessions, workshops, trainings or parallel programme blocks, providing organisers with flexible, fully equipped rooms that support efficient and seamless event operations.

All-in-One Conference Destination

The Balatonfüred Congress Centre is part of a broader ecosystem that includes the town's premium hotels and key service providers. We currently collaborate with 10 strategic partners — all four- and five-star hotels — as well as numerous local suppliers to offer a unified service portfolio under the emerging Congress Campus brand. Our shared goal is to provide event organisers with a comprehensive, turnkey solution that removes the complexity of planning and coordination.

Within a 10-minute walking distance from the Congress Centre, these partner hotels not only offer high-quality accommodation but also provide an additional 1,200-person event capacity, complementing the Centre's own 1,800-seat offering. This layout enables a true "campus experience," where the Congress Centre functions as the main hub, surrounded by satellite venues that seamlessly support parallel programmes, breakout sessions and social events.
